To achieve project objectives and optimize drivetrain system development through the execution of requirement and change management processes. This involves creating functional descriptions for electrical systems, tracking compliance with component and electrical requirements, verifying test coverage, conducting quality assessments of written specifications, and establishing agile frameworks such as Scrum.
Execute change management and requirements engineering processes to achieve project objectives.
Formulate functional descriptions for electrical systems to advance drivetrain development.
Track and ensure adherence to component and electrical system specifications.
Verify written requirements through quality checks and guarantee robust test coverage.
Introduce and maintain agile frameworks such as Scrum.
Define specific requirements and design electric vehicle (EV) functions.
Guarantee full traceability, accuracy, and completeness for all system-level requirements.
Oversee change requests and baselines, conducting impact assessments and recommending adjustments.
Align project needs across the EV department and engage with external vendors.
Work in partnership with component and vehicle project leads.
Core Competencies
Requirements & Quality Management: Demonstrated expertise in implementing end-to-end requirements and change management processes, ensuring data-driven impact analysis, comprehensive traceability, and rigorous quality control.
EV & E/E Domain Expertise: Extensive knowledge of electrical/electronic (E/E) architectures, electric vehicle (EV) drivetrain systems, and the functional design of electric vehicle components.
Technical Tool Stack: Advanced proficiency in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) systems, complemented by hands-on experience with Vector CAN tools and Visio.
Agile & Project Execution: Strong background in Scrum and agile frameworks, with a highly systematic approach to tracking test coverage and fulfilling project objectives under stringent deadlines.
Stakeholder & Supplier Management: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills utilized to coordinate requirements between global internal teams, project managers, and external suppliers.
Mindset & Language Proficiency: A proactive, solution-oriented professional who excels autonomously within flat hierarchies and possesses full fluency in both English and German.

Skills you bring with you
The candidate is required to possess either a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree specifically in Electrical Engineering or closely related similar studies.
A minimum of 5+ years of relevant working experience within the industry.
The primary industry focus for this role is centered within the Automotive sector.
Practical exposure and familiarity with E-mobility are required.
Leadership capabilities or previous managerial experience are not needed for this position.
Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink is considered optional for candidates
An expert level of capability in using MS Office tools is mandatory.
Candidates must demonstrate expert-level knowledge in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or similar systems.
An advanced operational knowledge of Vector CAN Tools is expected.
Advanced skill and experience with Visio or similar diagramming software are required
Fluent professional proficiency in the English language is required.
Fluent professional proficiency in the German language is also required.

Since 2019, Hero Tech Center Germany has been developing innovative concepts for the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motocorp Limited from India. At our location in Stephanskirchen, Rosenheim, we are a 60-strong team from 12 nationalities that has an impact on the mobility of the future by supporting the parent company in India with new technologies and innovative vehicle concepts and overseeing new developments from concept to series development. With our Vehicle Engineering & Development, Electrical Development and Advanced Styling divisions, we cover many areas of two-wheeler development. Our special feature is that the engineers for the chassis and body sit directly next to the designers of the Advanced Styling and thus have very short coordination paths.
Electromobility is not neglected by us either and is also covered from the beginning with good requirements management to internal battery and cell development to the electric drive train and testing.
